Growing Information
When your plants arrive, water the compost plugs thoroughly before potting on. Chillies enjoy warmth, sunlight and regular feeding once established.
Most varieties grow best in greenhouses, polytunnels, conservatories or warm sheltered outdoor positions during summer.
Chilli plants are short-lived perennials and can often be overwintered successfully indoors in a warm bright position.
On the rare occasion that a selected variety becomes unavailable, we may substitute the closest suitable alternative of similar heat level or growing style. Any substitutions will be clearly explained on the information slip inside the box lid.

About Our Plants
All plants are grown by us here in the UK on our small Market Garden in Derbyshire from seed or propagation stock — we do not import plants or buy in plug plants for resale.
We carefully pack orders using recycled and recyclable packaging wherever possible. Apart from a small amount of parcel tape and repurposed thin plastic bags used to protect roots in transit, our packaging is paper and card-based and biodegradable.
