Get ready to enjoy the taste of freshly grown Chillies with these amazing plug plants from Ready to Grow. Available in a range of heirloom, heritage and F1 varieties, these indoor and outdoor plants are perfect for  beginner and experienced gardeners alike. 

When you receive your plants, simply dunk the compost plugs in water until any bubbles stop coming up, to make sure they are wet, then just plant out into small pots, potting on into bigger pots as they grow. 

Postage for this offer is one flat fee, no matter how many chilli plants you order. We post out in letterbox friendly, recycled / recyclable packaging, using Royal mail tracked 48 (not signed for) to ensure you get your plants in top condition.

Armageddon F1 (coming soon)
One of the UK's hottest chillies, Armageddon F1 reaches up to 1.3 million Scoville Heat Units (SHU). It’s an early-cropping hybrid with fiery fruits and high yields, ideal for extreme heat lovers.

Buena Mulata
A striking heirloom cayenne-type chilli that ripens from true bright purple to deep orange / red. It has a medium heat and a sweet, fruity flavour, making it great for drying or ornamental use.

Carolina Reaper
The world’s hottest chilli (over 2 million SHU), it has a fruity taste with instant, intense heat. Recognised by its bumpy skin and stinger tail.

Carolina Reaper Yellow (coming soon) 

Chocolate Habanero
Also called “Congo Black,” this rich brown pepper packs 400,000 SHU and offers a smoky, earthy flavour. Great for hot sauces and Caribbean cuisine.

Chinese 5 Colour
An ornamental and edible variety, it displays purple, cream, yellow, orange, and red fruits simultaneously. Mild to medium heat with a peppery flavour.

Dragon’s Tongue
A very long, bright red chilli pepper - It’s hot and fruity, suitable for both ornamental use and spicy dishes.

Mirch Masala
An Indian chilli variety known for strong heat and complex flavour, often used in curries and pickles. Typically long, green, and thin-walled.

Nigel Green's Outdoor Chilli
A rare chilli with moderate heat and crisp texture, which looks like a large jalapeno. It is one of the few chillies that will ripen outside in the UK, though it will do best in a wam spot with plenty of sun. 

Orozco
A decorative heirloom variety with purple tinged foliage and multicoloured fruit (green to red). Hot and pungent, it works well for ornamental planting and spicy cooking.

Odyssey
A hybrid chilli known for reliability, good disease resistance, and medium-hot fruits. Often used in commercial growing for consistent yields.

Orange Habanero
Bright orange and lantern-shaped, it delivers searing heat (up to 350,000 SHU) with a citrusy, fruity punch. Common in hot sauces and Caribbean dishes.

Ring of Fire
A prolific cayenne-type chilli that matures early with long, thin red pods. Hot and perfect for drying, freezing, or fresh use in cooking.

Roxi
A compact chilli plant producing dark purple pods that ripen through yellow to red. Medium heat and striking looks make it great for containers and edible décor.

Quick Fire F1
An early-fruiting hybrid chilli with compact growth and small, hot red fruits. Great for patios and quick harvests, offering high productivity.

Orange Tiger
A slender Thai chilli, with bold orange colour and citrussy hot heat. Attractive and tasty, used fresh or dried for spice and aesthetics.

Pretty in Purple
An ornamental pepper with purple leaves and flowers, producing cone-shaped fruits that ripen from lilac to red. Mild to medium heat and eye-catching. This chilli overwintered very well for us last year. 

Scotch Bonnet 
Caribbean favourite with a tropical-fruity flavour and serious heat (~100,000–350,000 SHU). Ideal for jerk dishes and hot sauces.

Trinidad Scorpion
An extremely hot chilli, reaching 1.2 to 2 million Scoville Heat Units. It has a wrinkled, stinger-like tail and a fruity, slightly smoky flavour. Originally from Trinidad, it's used in ultra-hot sauces and spicy dishes for heat lovers only.

Vampire 
A striking ornamental chilli with deep purple to almost black foliage and dark fruit that ripens to bright red. It has medium to hot heat (approx. 30,000–50,000 SHU) and adds dramatic colour to gardens while still being edible and spicy.

Vindaloo F1
A high-yielding hybrid named after the fiery Indian dish. Produces medium-large, hot fruits perfect for curries and intense culinary heat.

We avoid using pesticides that kill pollinators and advise our customers to use natural pest control too.
