Growing Information

Plant in fertile well-drained soil in a sunny position. Water regularly during dry weather and protect young plants from slugs and snails while establishing.

Cabbages prefer firm fertile soil and benefit from regular watering during head formation.

Harvest once heads are firm and well formed.

About Our Plants

All plants are grown by us here in the UK on our small Market Garden in Derbyshire from seed or propagation stock — we do not import plants or buy in plug plants for resale.

We carefully pack orders using recycled and recyclable packaging wherever possible. Apart from a small amount of parcel tape and repurposed thin plastic bags used to protect roots in transit, our packaging is paper and card-based and biodegradable.
